What does a membership include?
All mariner memberships include a listing in our Mariner Directory, Job Board Access, and access to exclusive content. Your Mariner Profile will be searchable by vessels type, location, employment seeking, and more. Employers can flag your profile for jobs they have posted on the job board or contact you directly.

How secure is your billing system?
At FindAMariner.com we take your security very seriously. When creating a membership via our secure server, your credit card or debit card and name and address are encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) 256 Bit encryption technology. Your credit card information is not stored on our servers, and is PCI compliant.

Who will see my profile?
We have two levels of Mariner Profiles, Private and Premium. Private listings are only seen by Employers. Premium listings are seen by all users of Find A Mariner and will be indexed by Google and other search engines as part of our site.

Can I hide my profile from employers?
Private Profile members can hide their profile by following these steps:
1)Login to your account
2) Click on "Account Information"
3) Click on "Hide Account"

Where do the jobs come from?
Many of the jobs on FindAmariner come directly from the employers who use the website. However, FindAMariner strives to keep our members informed of as many active jobs as possible. Our team works day and night to find opportunities for our members.

Are memberships recurring billing?
Yes. All memberships are recurring billing. There is no contract, and you can cancel at any time.

I only want to signup for one month/year, how do I do it?
Signup for a membership, then cancel prior to your next billing date. If you cancel within 24 hours of signup your account will be cancelled immediately. 24 hours after you begin your subscription you will have the option to "de-activate" your account and continue service until the end of your billing cycle

How do I cancel?
To cancel:
1) Login to your account
2) Click on "Account Information"
3) Click on "Cancel Subscription"
4) Follow the prompts

I tried to create a new account, but it says my email address is already in the system?
You will need to re-activate your old account by logging in here: http://www.findamariner.com/login.php. Use your email address is your username and your previous password. If you have forgotten your password go here to get a new one issued: http://www.findamariner.com/forgot-password.php
